Gimme a Call by Sarah Mlynowski

I just started reading this book, Gimme a Call, and I'm already obsessed. I'm about halfway through it, and it just keeps getting better. So basically what it is about is this girl named Devi. She is a senior in high school, and her life is terrible. When she was a freshman, everything was great. A guy she liked, named Bryan, asked her out at a party, she had a best friend, made awesome new friends, and had a great, very functional family. But when she is a senior, everything is lost. Bryan broke her heart after three and a half years of dating, her former BFF Karin and her other friends aren't friends anymore, and her dad lost his job. But when she drops her phone in a fountain (spoiler alert!), it will only call one number, which is her number. Her number when she is 14, and a freshman. She finds out that anything she tells her younger self to do or to avoid, it will not only change her past, but affect her future too!At first, younger Devi thinks the caller is crazy and some random stalker person, but there is one distinctive feature in her voice that she doesn't share with anyone else. Older Devi sees the chance to turn her life around, just because of one number. Herself. This book switches off every chapter between Freshman Devi and Senior Devi, so be sure you read the chapter title! I recommend this book to everyone!! It is so good and I cannot wait to finish it!
